| 2. Right click in the spectrum area and select Edit Elements. Choose the elements you which to analyze and click OK. |

| 3. Perform a quick acquisition first by choosing a low resolution map of 320x240. |

4. Select the Setup icon and choose an appropriate dwell time. |

5. Select the camera icon and choose the correct magnification. The map consists of a secondary electron image and a scan for each element chosen. |
