Shut Down

  1. Reposition the stage under the cantilever by selecting Stage > Load New Sample.

  2. Exit the Nanoscope software.

  3. Logoff the computer.

  4. Turn off the AFM control box.

  5. Turn off the JVC monitor.

  6. Turn off the AFM light.

  7. Place the dust cover over the AFM.

  8. In the logbook, finish your entry by recording the time.
